Relief from Neuropathic Pain Is Possible
Numbness. Burning. Hypersensitivity.
Neuropathic pain is unlike any other — and it often comes with no visible injury. Whether caused by injury, illness, or treatment like chemotherapy, the effects can be debilitating.
At InterX Therapy Center, we help patients find relief through a non-invasive, drug-free solution designed to target nerve dysfunction directly — and restore quality of life.
Calm the Nerves. Ease the Pain.
Neuropathic pain is among the most difficult to treat—often resistant to medication and deeply disruptive to daily life. Janice Walker, OTR and Founder of InterX Therapy Center, has worked with hundreds of patients living with nerve pain caused by conditions like CRPS, AMPS, failed back surgery, fibromyalgia, and diabetic neuropathy.
InterX Therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free approach that calms the nervous system, supports natural pain relief, and helps the body respond better to medication. Over time, many patients report better sleep, reduced reliance on prescription drugs, and a noticeable shift in how their body responds to pain. Watch Janice explain how InterX supports nerve healing and why it’s a valuable tool for managing chronic neuropathic pain.
Understanding Neuropathic Pain
Neuropathic pain occurs when nerves are damaged or not functioning correctly. Unlike inflammatory pain, this type of pain comes from within the nervous system itself and may persist even after the original injury has healed.
Common causes include:
- Burning, throbbing pain (often in arm, leg, hand, or foot)
- Sensitivity to touch or cold
- Swelling and skin changes (color, temperature, texture)
- Nerve trauma or post-surgical nerve damage
- Tremors, spasms, or pain seizures
- Shingles (postherpetic neuralgia)
Common symptoms:
- Numbness or tingling in hands and feet
- Sharp, burning, or stabbing pain
- Cold sensitivity
- Muscle weakness or loss of coordination
- Loss of balance or fine motor control
Neuropathic pain is often chronic, misunderstood, and difficult to treat with medications alone — which is where InterX comes in.

How InterX Therapy Can Help
InterX is an interactive neurostimulation technology that works by scanning the skin’s surface for areas of heightened nerve sensitivity. Once detected, the device delivers customized electrical impulses that adjust in real-time to the patient’s response.
For patients with neuropathy, InterX can:
âś” Reduce pain sensitivity and interrupt dysfunctional nerve signals
âś” Promote circulation and reduce swelling (especially in extremities)
âś” Restore balance, flexibility, and motor control
✔ Support nerve regeneration by encouraging the body’s natural healing response
Our protocols are tailored to the underlying cause of the neuropathy, whether it’s diabetic, post-chemotherapy, injury-related, or autoimmune.
Real Patient Success Story
At the age of 55, I was diagnosed with stage 3 Colon Cancer. My successful surgery was followed by 12 sessions of adjunctive chemotherapy (Folfox). While the chemotherapy was less brutal than some, it still came with its side effects, leaving me with chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) in my hands and feet.
My hands became intolerant to the cold, hypersensitive fingertips, and I lost fine motor skills. My feet had numb toes, hypersensitive soles, intolerance to cold, partial loss of balance, minimal flexibility, and edema.
My employer’s medical department recommended InterX Therapy Center. I did 14 treatments in a 4-week period and the swelling (edema) was completely eliminated. The other symptoms in my feet would lessen temporarily but returned — until I came back a year later. After four days of treatment, I had a breakthrough: feeling returned to my toes. After 12 additional treatments, I had restoration of flexibility and a normal sense of balance.
My feet are now 90% normal. I was told by my neurologist that 'these things take time and there is nothing you can do about it.’ But InterX proved otherwise.
I cannot say enough accolades regarding this non-invasive, drug-free treatment. Janice and Annette, the therapists at InterX, are dedicated professionals who make a difference.
